Richard Fazio, of Winter Garden, FL was called home to the Lord for his eternal rest Tuesday August 22,2023.
He was born in 1958 in New York to Thomas and Lillian (Pfautsch) Fazio and was the second of four boys. Richard moved to Winter Garden, Florida after living 40 plus years in Leonardtown, MD. Richard graduated from the University of Maryland with a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration (Labor Relations) where he met his loving wife, Teresa M. Ciorciari. He also received an MBA from the Florida Institute of Technology, attended Wharton School of Business, and completed one year towards his doctorate from NOVA Southeastern University.
Richard started at Booz Allen Hamilton, an American government and military contractor in 1984 and rose to be a Principle (Vice-President). He was fully respected for his business acumen and his integrity. Richard volunteered coaching soccer for his children’s teams and with the Navy League, and he was a long-time member of St. Francis Xavier Church in Leonardtown, MD.
His passion was cars, especially Ford Mustangs, and he loved anything to do with cars: tinkering, TV shows, magazines and talking with his grandsons and others about cars.
Richard is survived by his wife Teresa of 42 years of NJ; his son Anthony (Danielle), his daughters, Christina (James) and Elizabeth; his mother Lillian Fazio; his three brothers, Thomas (Luanne), Pete (Lydia) and Jimmy (Jen); his grandchildren Rosario, Maximus, Ritchie, Giovanni, and Baby Boy. Richard was predeceased by his father, Thomas and his grandparents.
