Fire breaks out at apartment complex breezway

Emergency personnel were called to the scene of an Orlando apartment complex this week after receiving reports of a fire breaking out in a breezeway.

Orlando Fire Department responded to the Park Central Apartments at 5009 Park Central Drive in Orlando after receiving reports of a fire on a breezeway.

According to a statement issued through social media on Wednesday, multiple units, including engines and rescue units, responded to the fire.

Upon arrival, the fire was located immediately. Authorities say it was on the second floor breezeway and extended to the third floor.

The fire was quickly extinguished by firefighters and no injuries were reported as a result of the incident.

According to authorities, there was no damage caused to the interior of the apartment.

The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
