A 37-year-old man from Orlando was indicted by a grand jury this week on multiple counts of receiving and possessing child pornography.
Pietro Devine was indicted on three counts of receiving child sex abuse material and one count of possessing child sex abuse material, according to a press release from U.S. Attorney Roger B. Handberg of the Middle District of Florida.
According to the indictment, Devine received child sex abuse material on August 21, September 3, and September 8, 2023. Additionally, he was in possession of child sex abuse material on September 14, 2023.
No additional details were provided describing the extent of the documents found or the contents therein.
As part of the indictment, Devine must forfeit certain digital media devices that were allegedly used to commit the offenses with which he is charged.
If convicted on all counts, Devine faces a minimum mandatory penalty of 5 years, and up to 20 years in federal prison.
