A Filipino restaurant near the University of Central Florida was forced to temporarily close its doors for a day after a health inspector found multiple code violations, including the presence of roaches.

Hangry Dobo, which is located at 12140 Collegiate Way, was forced to temporarily close on Friday, October 13, after failing a health inspection conducted by the Florida Department of Business and Professional Regulation.

According to the inspector’s report, at least 13 health code violations were found during the inspection, including one considered high priority.

That high priority violation was the presence of roach activity, as evidenced by 11 live roaches found in various places around the kitchen, inside a cooler, and inside an oven, among other places.

According to state records, the restaurant was not reinspected again until Monday, October 16. During that visit, the inspector cited the business for an additional six violations, but permitted the business to reopen.
