The Orlando Film Festival has returned to downtown Orlando with over 300 independent films and their creators.

The festival kicked off today, October 26 and will run through Thursday, November 2, with showings scheduled at various hours throughout the weeklong event.

Each day will feature a collection of guest speakers, filmmakers, and nightly parties, all capped off with an awards banquet. Visitors will have the chance to view more than 300 films and discuss them during industry panels and workshops.

All activities are geared toward bringing together hundreds of indie filmmakers with thousands of local fans.

Tickets to the event vary by the number of days purchased, ranging from $20 for a one-day pass to $100 for a seven-day pass.
