Robert Lee Inman

Robert Lee Inman passed away in Altamonte Springs, Florida on October 18, 2023. He was born on Feb 9, 1947 in Bonne Terre, Missouri to Jerome and Ruby Inman.

He graduated from Desloge High School, Desloge, Missouri in 1965 and joined the United States Army right after graduation and served in Germany. He met Patricia Fish when he returned from Germany and they were married in 1969 and lived in the St Louis area. Bob joined the United States Air Force in 1970 where his career in the military took them to the Philippines, Turkey, Greece and several locations in the United States until his retirement in 1989.

He then served as a Special Agent for the Department of Defense until that retirement in 2007. Upon Bob’s retirement in 2007, he and Pat moved to the Orlando area and both went to work for Disney at Walt Disney World. They rode a Goldwing motorcycle for almost 20 years and toured in 46 states. When they lived in Tennessee they did fundraisers for St Jude Children’s Hospital in Memphis and chapters from all over the state would ride to the hospital to make the presentation. Bob never met a stranger and loved spending time with his wife, children, grandchildren and great-grandson.

He is survived by his wife, Patricia; children, Kimberly and Jeffrey Richardson of Leavenworth, Kansas; Catherine Inman of Orlando, Florida; Robert and Heather Inman of Holly, Michigan. Grandchildren: Aubrey and Austin Richardson; Daniel and Jessica Roberts; Tristan, Talon, Trace, Tripp, Thane, and Meadow Inman; and a Great Grandson: Liam Richardson. A sibling, Jerome and Roberta Inman of Bonne Terre, Missouri; a niece, Tami and Gary Pendarvis; and numerous cousins.

He is predeceased by his parents; Jerome and Ruby Inman; sibling, Larry Inman; and nephews, Alan, Patrick and Keith Inman.
