Danielle Rae Arvesen (nee Middlebrook), beloved wife, sister, teacher, and friend died October 25th. Born in Danbury, CT in 1972, she inspired students in Connecticut, Florida, and China.
Danielle brought the gift of reading to many students who had previously struggled. Her kindness, patience, and faith in her kids enabled them to succeed. In 2006, she married Andrew Arvesen of Clermont at their home. From 2012, they taught overseas, visiting many countries across Europe and Asia. Danielle was proud of her family’s connection to the American Revolution and loved animals, opera, and exploring new cultures and foods.
She was diagnosed with cancer four years ago, but continued to work and live normally until recently. Her courage and kindness are an inspiration to all who knew her.
She is survived by her adoring husband Andrew, her brother Donald, her stepson Vincent, and hundreds of students all over the world.
