Two of the most well-known Christian rock bands in the world will host a dual show at an Orlando venue this weekend.
Skillet and Theory of a Deadman will bring “The Rock Resurrection Tour” to the Central Florida Fairgrounds (4603 W Colonial Drive) on Saturday, November 25, at 7 p.m.
Founded in 1996, Skillet has released eleven studio albums over the past two-and-a-half decades, two of which, Collide and Comatose, received Grammy nominations. Two of band’s albums, Comatose and Awake, are certified platinum and double platinum, while Rise and Unleashed are certified gold. Their songs, Monster, Hero, Awake and Alive, and Feel Invincible, are certified multi-Platinum, while Whispers in the Dark and Comatose, are both certified platinum.
Theory of a Deadman was founded the same year as Skillet and features blends of country, acoustic, post-grunge and alternative rock in their musical style. Nine of their singles have entered the top ten of the US Billboard Mainstream Rock chart, including four songs that peaked at number one: Bad Girlfriend, Lowlife, Rx (Medicate) and History of Violence.
