Several pets rescued, one adult injured in Oviedo house fire

One adult was injured and several pets were rescued in a fire that consumed a home in Oviedo.

Oviedo Fire Department and Seminole County Fire Department crews responded to reports of a kitchen fire at 1028 Henson Court in Oviedo on Wednesday, November 29.

Upon arrival, units quickly took the fire under control and extinguished it within minutes.

One adult was transported from the scene to Orlando Regional Medical Center. According to authorities, that individual suffered minor injuries.

Firefighters were able to rescue several animals from the household and no additional injuries or hospitalizations were reported.
