The Nutcracker begins two-week stay at Dr. Phillips Center

A classic Christmas story will being its two-week stay at the Dr. Phillips Center for the Performing Arts this week.

The Orlando Ballet will perform The Nutcracker beginning Friday, December 8, through Sunday, December 24 at the center, which is located at 445 S Magnolia Avenue in downtown Orlando. Performances will take place at 7:30 p.m., Thursday through Sunday, with 2 p.m. shows scheduled across multiple Sundays.

The play follows the story of a young girl, Clara, as she explores the fantasy world of the Mouse King, the Sugar Plum Fairy, and Mother Ginger.

Tickets to the show start at $29. The shows will be performed in the center’s Steinmetz Hall.
