The city of Apopka will host its annual Christmas Parade this weekend.
The 47th Annual Christmas Parade: A Christmas Story will take place on Saturday, December 9, from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m.
The event will feature floats from local businesses and organizations, as well as holiday-themed costumes, marching bands, candy, and decorated holiday floats. Visitors are encouraged to bring chairs to sit along the parade route.
The route runs northbound on Park Avenue from United Methodist Church of Apopka to Votaw Road, according to event organizers.
