Legendary folk singer playing show at Orlando venue

Legendary folk singer Judy Collins will take the stage with Stephen Stills for the first time together in Orlando this January.

Collins will perform at The Plaza Live (425 N. Bumby Avenue) on Friday, January 12, at 8 p.m.

Collins is known for her eclectic palette as a solo artist, melding folk, rock, classical, and jazz into a singular aesthetic. She’s earned five Grammys nominations and one Grammy win. Outside of music, Collins has published two memoirs and one novel and, in 1975, she was nominated for an Academy Award for the documentary Antonia: A Portrait of the Woman.

Despite only dating for two years in 1968 and 1969, Collins and Stills’ shaped modern music with their heartbreak ballads in the midst of their public breakup.
