A 44-year-old man from Lake Mary was killed this morning after his vehicle ran off a local roadway and crashed into shrubs.
The fatal accident took place near the intersection of Greenway Boulevard and Grassy Point Drive at around 6:03 a.m. on Wednesday.
According to a report from the Florida Highway Patrol, the man was driving a 2007 Mercedes Benz S550 eastbound on Greenway Blvd, just east of Grassy Point Drive.
For unknown reasons, the vehicle ran off the left side of the roadway and collided with shrubs on the shoulder.
The driver was transported to Orlando Health South Seminole Hospital, where he was pronounced deceased.
