Block party taking over Sanford Avenue this Saturday

The city of Sanford is hosting its monthly block party with live music, beer, and food this weekend.

The event takes place on Saturday, January 27, from 5:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. on Sanford Avenue, between 4th Street and 5th Street.

The family-friendly event will feature live music, beer, wine, cocktails, and food, as well as multiple merchants and artisans. Event organizers say the event is also pet friendly, so long as pets are kept on leashes. Block closures will be in effect from 3rd to 5th Street.
