Destinee Castro

Destinee Castro, age 18, of Orlando, Florida passed away on Saturday, January 20, 2024 at Arnold Palmer Hospital for Children in Orlando.

She was born on January 9, 2006 in Orlando, with her twin sister, to her loving parents, Eduardo and Jessica Castro.

Destinee was a lot to unpack in one little head & heart. She met everyone with a smile. She never saw the bad in anyone unless you were the cow mascot from Chick-fil-a, “shoo cow!” She wasn’t having that. Our Destinee was and still is so bright, so happy, and so caring. She wanted to know you’re okay and that you ate today. She was sassy in a fun way and knew exactly what she wanted when she wanted it. Her light will live through us all and we’re here to keep her memory alive that way. She always asked two very important questions, so I ask you in her honor, what’s your favorite color and your favorite number?

Destinee is survived by her mother, Jessica Castro and her fiancé, Sean Autrey, of Orlando; father, Eduardo J. Castro of Orlando; two sisters, Bethlisa Castro, and Ericka A. Castro; maternal grandparents, Maria DeJesus, and Victor Hernandez; and paternal grandparents, Ana H. Castro, and Jose A. Castro.

A visitation will be held on February 4, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions, located at 895 S Goldenrod Road in Orlando.
