Melody Dawn Knott Armstrong

The world sent another angel to heaven when Melody Dawn Knott Armstrong, 58, of Groveland, Florida passed away on December 02, 2023.

A beautiful woman inside and out, Melody was born on July 16, 1965, in Orlando, Florida, where she lived until marrying Robert Armstrong, moving first to Winter Garden and then on to Groveland, Florida. Growing up in Pine Hills, Melody was always full of life and love and sunshine, and never met a stranger!

Even as a little girl she was loved and adored by all who met her. Melody’s passions were reading, photography (she always had wished she had been a photojournalist!), sunbathing, and most of all her family. Melody spent much of her life in the restaurant business, and later managed her husband’s masonry & handyman business. The greatest delight in her life came in raising her two daughters, along with time spent with her stepdaughter. The icing on the cake would come when grandchildren were later added to the family! She adored them!! Included in her many loves were animals, both big and small, and her family always had many dogs, horses and any other furry or feathered creature her family happened upon in life!

Mrs. Armstrong is survived by her children Fawn Kaela Armstrong and Brandi Lyne Armstrong Fisher (Alex); stepdaughter Ashley L. Nicole Armstrong James Ping (Matt); grandchildren Kaedence Nicole Armstrong and Amber Lynn Flowers; step-grandchildren William Parker James, Lilyannalee and Olivia Nicole Ping; as well as her siblings: Donna L. Rooney, Gary A. Knott (Lissette) and Tina Marie Knott Miller (Andy Martin), and her many nieces, great-nieces, and great-nephews. Along with being dearly missed by her family, Melody will be greatly missed by her many, many dear friends!

We are all so heartbroken to have lost such a beautiful soul to early onset Alzheimer’s, but know she is now finally at peace.
