Orlando man who recorded himself raping 8-year-old gets 50 years in prison

A 41-year-old Orlando man who recorded himself raping an 8-year-old has been sentenced to spend the next 50 years behind bars.

Miguel Alejandro Diaz Gonzalez was sentenced to 50 years in federal prison for production and transportation of child sex abuse material.

According to a criminal complaint filed in federal court, the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children received a tip concerning an online media storage account associated with the username “Satans child.”

While investigating the account, authorities found numerous videos and photos depicting child pornography.

The account was traced back to a home in Orlando where Gonzalez was living.

During the execution of a search warrant at the home, law enforcement authorities uncovered a video that depicted Gonzalez raping an 8-year-old child. The child had previously been under Gonzalez’s care.

Two other children, ages 10 and 11, were also identified as victims that Gonzalez had molested in the home.

According to court records, Gonzalez was responsible for sharing and transporting several images and videos depicting children being drugged, raped, and molested by adults.

Gonzalez was arrested in September 2022 and pled guilty to the charges on May 18, 2023.
