New dining and listening room at Dr. Phillips Center

A new, 150-guest listening room that promises an intimate atmosphere to enjoy world class performing artists, craft cocktails, and a scratch-kitchen menu just opened at the Dr. Phillips Center for Performing Arts.

Judson’s Live is officially open at the venue, which is located at 445 S Magnolia Avenue in downtown Orlando.

Named after late jazz musician Judson Green, Judson’s Live was designed with acoustics and atmosphere in mind. The small venue is anchored by a grand piano, which serves as the focal point of the room.

The venue features a full bar with beer, craft cocktails, and wine that is selected by an in-house sommelier.

The menu features multiple dishes made from scratch, including charcuterie boards, cheese flights, flat breads, and a variety of small plates like octopus, tuna, meatballs, pork belly bites, and beef sliders, among others.

Performances last for about 50 minutes to an hour, and the entire experience should be around 90 minutes. The venue also requires a one-drink minimum, per person.

Lobby doors open 60 minutes before show time and visitors may check in on the organization’s website.

Judson’s Live is open Tuesday through Saturday for shows at 7 p.m. and 9:30 p.m., as well as Sunday for shows at 5 p.m. and 7:30 p.m.
