James Paul Lonergan

After a long hard battle with cancer, James passed away peacefully on February 2, 2024, at 4:03 am.

He was born in Augusta, Georgia, on October 23, 1977, to Raymond and Carolyn Lonergan. James attended University High School in Orlando and was a quarterback on the football team. James loved the outdoors! He enjoyed activities such as shooting guns, fishing, and surfing. He had a love for art, especially tattoos. His choice of music was rock ‘n’ roll, metal, and specifically, DMX. He was also a collector of knives, swords, and comic books. James was a man’s man. He always protected and provided for his family.

James is survived by his father, Raymond Lonergan; sisters, Alexis Lonergan and Jenna (Michael) Williams; daughter, Sierra Nicole Patrick; and brother, Donald Lonergan. He is proceeded in death by his mother, Carolyn, and grandparents, Millie and Paul Morris. Celebration of life is planned for February 24 at Lake Mills Park at 2 PM in Chuluota, Florida. “How we spend our days, is, of course, how we spend our lives.”
