Multiple arrests were made last week across Volusia County, where law enforcement authorities allegedly found ten massage parlors engaging in prostitution.
Last week, detectives from Volusia County Sheriff’s Office and Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office announced the results of an investigation into massage parlors across Volusia County.
During their investigation, authorities identified 10 locations in the county that were allegedly participating in illicit activities with customers:
My Sunshine Spa (DeLand)
Nice Massage (DeLand)
Massage Asia (Orange City)
Azalea Massage (Deltona)
Joy Spa (Deltona)
AA Massage (Edgewater)
Jasmine Spa (Edgewater)
Massage Eden (Holly Hill)
Asian Massage (Ormond Beach)
East Spa (Ormond Beach)
Employees at all of the locations were arrested in interviewed. During the interviews, law enforcement authorities learned that none of the employees arrested were involved in human trafficking.
The investigation is ongoing and is being conducted in collaboration with the U.S. Department of Homeland Security, the Florida Department of Health, and the Florida Department of Business and Professional Regulation. Further charges
