Law enforcement authorities responded earlier this afternoon to reports of a stabbing along a local roadway in DeLand.
DeLand Police Department officers and deputies from the Volusia County Sheriff’s Office responded to the 300 block of E. New York Avenue on Wednesday afternoon in response to a reported stabbing.
Upon arrival, a victim was found suffering from various injuries that were labeled minor by authorities.
According to VSO, officers and deputies are currently investigating the scene. While the case is still active, there is “no immediate threat to the public,” according to VSO.
