A 32-year-old man was killed after his semi-truck ran off an Orlando roadway and crashed into a wall.
The fatal accident occurred on Sunday, February 18, at around 12:03 p.m., according to a press release issued by the Florida Highway Patrol.
The man, who was from Lauderdale Lakes, was driving a 2023 Freightliner semi cab truck westbound on Central Florida Parkway, approaching Rocket Boulevard.
According to FHP, the driver ran the stop sign at the intersection of the roadways and ran off the roadway in a westerly direction.
As a result, the front of the vehicle collided with a support sign and a fence before continuing west and colliding with a wall.
The driver was pronounced deceased at the scene.
