Ana Luisa Roberts, 64 of Orlando, Florida passed away peacefully on Wednesday, February 14, 2024, in Ocoee, Florida after a long battle with cancer. She passed with her loving family by her side.
Ana was born on June 25, 1959, in her beloved country of The Republic of Panama to Ivan Henry and Iviola (Davy) Henry who both predeceased her. Ana was the loving wife of 30 years to the late Alfredo Roberts whom she met in Ft. Hood, Texas and raised her four loving children with before moving to Florida.
Ana was a supervisor for many years in Orlando, FL. She was a very hardworking woman, a loving wife, mother, sister, and friend. She enjoyed cooking, fishing, video games (boy she was competitive), dancing, home improvement projects, traveling and most importantly spending time with her family, especially her
grandchildren. Ana was an exemplary wife, mother, and human being. She embodied the best qualities: unconditional love, strength of spirit, and an unending generosity that could be seen in her care of all she met. She accepted everyone with a heart of gold, open arms, no judgement, and a large smile.
Even in the end she found a way to continue to give to others, always smiling, laughing, and advising. Her departure comes as a deep wound and is gravely felt by not only her entire family but countless others who loved her deeply.
She is survived by her four children, Taisha Vernon-Francis, of Orlando, FL., Armando Vernon Jr. (Deidra) of Mount Dora, FL., Samantha Vernon-Carlyle (Lloyd) of Ocoee, FL., and Anthony Vernon (Catherine) of Winter Garden, FL. Her nine grandchildren Armando III, Derrick, Drae, Amir, Kaison, Jae, Abigail, Aidan, and
Sanaiyah. A large host of siblings, nieces, nephews, cousins, and in laws.
The family will receive relatives and friends for a viewing on Saturday, February 24, 2024, 6:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Winter Oak Funeral Home, 1132 E. Plant Street, Winter Garden, FL 34787.
