A cheesesteak shop in the food court at the Orlando Vineland Premium outlets was forced to temporarily close after 17 roaches were found during a health inspection.
The Charley’s Philly Steaks located at the outlets (8200 Vineland Avenue) was temporarily closed on Monday, February 12, after failing a health inspection conducted by the Florida Department of Business and Professional Regulation.
During the inspection, the restaurant was cited for four violations, including one considered high priority.
The inspector’s report notes that 17 live roaches were found around the restaurant, including 9 live roaches on a wall near a sink, and 3 around a bread rack.
The restaurant, which is located within the food court of the facility, was reinspected on Wednesday, February 14, and was permitted to reopen after no violations were found.
