A 35-year-old registered sex offender is being accused of not reporting multiple social media accounts and a cell phone number that he allegedly shared with a 17-year-old girl.

Volusia County Sheriff’s Office detectives arrested Brad A. Perry, of DeLand, on February 21 after receiving a tip about an unregistered Facebook account.

According to VCSO, detectives determined that Perry, who is a registered sex offender, had failed to register a social media account, a cell phone, a job, and a vehicle.

Registered sex offenders in the state of Florida are required to report their address, social media accounts, phone numbers, vehicles, workplaces, and other personal details to law enforcement authorities.

During their investigation, detectives seized Perry’s phone and conducted a forensic examination.

According to VCSO, multiple unreported social media accounts were discovered on the phone.

Detectives also allegedly found sexually explicit images of children ranging in age from infancy to 10 years old.

According to VCSO, Perry also gave his unregistered cell phone number to a 17-year-old girl.

Perry is facing 30 counts of possession of child pornography, and 4 counts of failing to properly register as a sexual predator, among other charges. He is currently being
