Tamara Holmes

Tamara Jean Holmes, beloved mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, great-aunt, and friend, passed away on February 19, 2024, after a courageous battle with dementia. She was a loving mother to her three sons, Jess, Kenneth, and Kris Holmes, and cherished sister to Polly Philbrick, Sally Whitcomb, and Dewitt Lane. Tamara’s warmth and kindness endeared her to all who knew her.

Tamara found joy in the simple pleasures of life, whether it was attending church with her closest friends, nurturing her garden, or engaging in heartfelt conversations with family and friends. Her passion for swimming and long walks kept her active and vibrant. Despite her battle with diabetes, Tamara’s resilience and commitment to her health were unwavering, a testament to her strength of character right until the very end.

Tamara’s infectious smile and generous spirit touched the lives of many. She approached each day with grace and compassion, leaving a lasting impression on everyone she met. Her memory will be cherished by all who were fortunate enough to know her.
