David Pietrowski

David Pietrowski, age 64, passed away peacefully on February 23, 2024. at the Winter Garden Florida home where he lived with his sister, Marsha, brother-in-law, Don, niece, Megan, nephew, Joel, and great nephew Bennett.

David was born on November 26, 1959 in Cleveland, Ohio to Michael and Irene (Mikolajczyk) Pietrowski.

He is survived by his former wife Elaine Pietrowski; daughter, Lindsey Pietrowski and step-daughter Kelly Kimble; sisters, Marsha (Donald) Holzer and Diane (Ralph) DeSimone; sister-in-law, Terri Pietrowski and sister-in-law, Nancy Pietrowski. He was preceded in death by his brothers, Thomas Pietrowski and Richard Pietrowski, and
his parents.

Dave was a supervisor for many years at Transformer Engineering until his early retirement due to Multiple Sclerosis. After 15 years of fighting MS and Chronic Kidney Disease, he moved to Winter Garden, Florida, where he was cared for by his sister, Marsha, and brother-in-law, Don for his final 6 years of life.

Dave loved watching game shows, court tv shows, and Law and Order. He enjoyed word puzzle games and card games on his tablet and watching sports, especially Yankees and Cowboys, admittingly being a bandwagon extraordinaire. Though there were many ups and downs, Dave fought long and hard as he endured the struggles of his debilitating disease. He kept his sense of humor through it all and will be greatly missed by his loved ones.
