A motorcyclist was ejected from his vehicle and killed over the weekend after his vehicle left an Orlando roadway and struck a curb.
Florida Highway Patrol troopers responded to the area of Silver Star Road and Princeton Street on Saturday, March 2, at around 12:02 a.m. in reference to a motorcycle accident.
According to FHP, the motorcyclist was riding a 2019 Harley Davidson westbound on Princeton Road, approaching Silver Star Road, when he failed to negotiate a left-hand curve.
As a result, the motorcycle ran off the right side of the roadway and collided with the curb. The vehicle continued onto the grass shoulder and rotated counter clockwise onto Silver Star Road.
As the vehicle rotated, the rider was ejected from the vehicle. He was pronounced deceased at the scene.
The rider’s identity was not provided in the initial press release as the medical examiner’s office was still working to update the individual.
