Orlando airport nominated as best in North America

Votes are needed to help Orlando International Airport win the title of North America’s Leading Airport for 2024.

The airport, which is located at 1 Jeff Fuqua Boulevard, is one of eleven airports that were selected by the World Travel Awards as finalists for the title of the continent’s best airport.

Celebrating its 31st annual installment, the World Travel Awards serves to acknowledge, reward and celebrate excellence across all sectors of the global travel and tourism industry, according to the organization’s website.

The airport joins several other large facilities vying for the distinction, including the Dallas Fort Worth International Airport, and the John F. Kennedy International Airport in New York.

Orlando International Airport is the sole facility in Florida to make the list.

Over the past several months and years, the airport has undergone multiple dramatic upgrades and changes.

That includes new parking lots that opened late last year, as well as Terminal C, which opened to the public in September 2022.

To cast a vote for the Orlando International Airport, visit the World Travel Awards for North America’s Leading Airport 2024 online.
