Tickets still available for Winter Park’s Dinner on the Avenue

The City of Winter Park is hosting its 20th annual Dinner on the Avenue next month, and tickets are still available.

The 20th Dinner on the Avenue will be on Saturday, April 6, from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. at the Winter Park Community Center located at 721 W New England Avenue.

20th Dinner on the Avenue tables are on sale now for $175; this includes the table, black lien tablecloth, and 8 chairs. Everything else is up to you. You can bring your own potluck or use a local restaurant to cater.

Each group is challenged to develop its own unique look and individual décor. Awards will be presented to winners in various categories, including most colorful, most elegant, most original, best TV/movie-themed, and honorable mentions. The judging will begin at 7 p.m. sharp.

A portion of proceeds will benefit the city’s Splash, Float, Swim initiative, a cooperative effort between the City of Winter Park, Winter Park YMCA, and Orange County Public Schools.
