The Osceola County Sheriff’s Office is asking for help from the public to identify and locate a man wanted in connection with a bank robbery.
On Monday, March 11, OCSO deputies responded to the SouthState Bank located at 850 Cypress Parkway in Poinciana in reference to a bank robbery that had just occurred.
Upon arrival, the deputies made contact with the female victim/bank teller who advised that she was assisting different customers when a Black man approached the counter. According to the victim, the man immediately pulled out a note and demanded money.
The victim stated that she gave the male suspect an undisclosed amount of U.S. currency. After grabbing the money, the suspect ran out of the bank.
When the suspect was last seen, he was wearing a camouflage hat, blue pullover jacket, and blue pants, according to deputies.
“At this time, this is an ongoing investigation,” stated the sheriff’s office on social media. No further details were provided.
