Martina Rodriguez, a beloved mother, provider, and caretaker, passed away on March 1, 2024, at the age of 63. Born on May 17, 1960, in Melbach, Germany, from parents Karl Gebhard and Margaret Gehrman, both precede her in death.

Martina was a woman of remarkable creativity and dedication. She is survived by her loving sons, Manuel and Marco Rodriguez. Martina’s life was marked by service and passion. Beginning with an early military career in the army, followed by honorable discharge, she continued her commitment to service in the National Guard and Air Force reserves. Her dedication led her to the Kissimmee Police Department, where she served until retirement.

Known for her creativity, Martina was a talented artisan who embraced various crafts. From her ceramics, painting, and firing business to her decorative cake baking hobby, she infused every endeavor with her unique flair. As an essential Florida resident for the last 30 years, Martina touched the lives of many with her warmth and generosity. Her degree in criminal justice reflected her commitment to justice and service to her community. Martina will be deeply missed by her family and friends.

A military entombment ceremony will be held in her honor at Cape Canaveral National Cemetery on March 21 at 1 p.m. Her legacy lives on in the hearts of all who knew her.
