Robert Hooper Jr.

Robert (Rob) M. Hooper, Jr., 54, passed away suddenly on March 17, 2024. Rob was born on February 3, 1970 in Apopka.

He graduated from Apopka High School in 1988. He then attended Florida State University and graduated with a degree in Business Management in 1993. He owned and managed a Subway franchise in Tarpon Springs and was later a District Sales Manager of Circulation for USA Today.

He moved back to the Orlando area and became a Math Teacher in the Orange County School District, teaching at Robinswood Middle School and Apopka High School.

He is survived by his parents Bob and Daphne Hooper; his sister Amy Neal and her husband Dan Neal; his nephews Garrett Neal and Drew Neal; and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.

Rob enjoyed walking, watching sports, spending time with family and friends, reading and caring for his dog Maddy. He was a loving son, brother, uncle and friend and was best known for his great sense of humor. He will be dearly missed by all his family, friends and those whose lives he touched.
