Charlene S. Nelson

Charlene S. Nelson, 40, of Stone Mountain, GA, passed away suddenly on Wednesday, March 13, 2024.

Ayana, as she was affectionately known, was born on February 8, 1984 in Georgetown, Guyana to Sandra Taylor and Gene Nelson. Charlene enjoyed reading and spending time with her family. She especially loved and cared for her precious fur baby, Coby. Her smile and love for life will live on in the hearts of those who knew her best. She was a devoted daughter, sister, and friend who will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

She is survived by her: mother, Sandra Taylor; 11 siblings, Ordel, Andrea, Kester, Sabrina, Andrew, Diane, Kurt, Karen, Kewyn, Marvin and Althea; a host of other relatives and many friends. Visitation will be held on Friday, April 26, 2024 from 4-6PM at the mortuary.

A service of celebration will be held on Saturday, April 27, 2024, 11:00 a.m. at Majestic Life Church, 821 S. Kirkman Road, Orlando with Pastor Chauncey Brown, officiating. Interment: Orlando Memorial Gardens, Apopka.
