Joseph Lee Walker, born on October 16, 1959, entered this world at Orange Memorial Hospital in Orlando, Florida. He was the beloved son of Dixie Lee Fair and Jafer Thomas. However, Joseph was raised by David Fair and Dixie Lee Fair.
He was blessed with two sisters: Sabrina Walker, and Atasha Fair. Joseph attended Phyllis Wheatley Elementary School and later graduated in 1977, from Apopka High School, both in Apopka, Florida. He was employed as a Greenhouse Technician at Container Centralen, Inc., in Apopka, Florida. Joseph joined and was baptized at New Hope Missionary Baptist Church in Apopka, Florida in 2023.
On Monday, March 11, 2024, the Lord dispatched one of his angels to the bedside of Joseph Lee Walker surrounded by the love and memories shared by those who knew him to escort him back to his eternal home in glory. His departure is a deep and personal loss to his family and friends, he will be greatly missed.
He was preceded in death by his fathers: Jafer Thomas and David Fair, sisters: Sabrina Walker and Atasha Fair, and great-nephew: Billy Griffin, Jr.
He leaves behind to cherish precious memories a loving mother: Dixie Lee Jackson Fair, Apopka, FL; son: Jeremi Rudolph, Houston, TX, grandchildren: Kelsey Steinke, Apopka, FL, Jala Rudolph, Winter Garden, FL, Jeremi Rudolph, Jr., Winter Garden, FL, Jamiah Rudolph, Apopka, FL, Ariella Rudolph, Clermont, FL, Aubrey Rudolph, Clermont, FL, and Jakayla Rudolph, Houston, TX; uncle: Willie Johnson of Apopka, FL, Joseph also leaves behind several nephews: Brendon Walker, (Antionette), Volusia County, FL, Billy Griffin, II, Apopka, FL, Harry Glenn, III, Johnny Woods, II of Apopka, FL, and Nehemiah Fair nieces: Jessica Matthews, (Robert Greene) Orlando, FL, and Breanna Walker, great-nephew: Rashad Griffin, (Jamilya), Apopka, FL, a devoted God sister: Kathy Milsap, a host of other relatives and sorrowing friends.
