A man died on Tuesday after being involved in a fight at a park in Orlando.
At around 4 p.m., Orange County Sheriff’s Office deputies responded to Barber Park (3701 Gatlin Avenue in Orlando) in reference to a physical altercation. When deputies arrived on scene, they located a man in his 40s who had sustained serious injuries, according to OCSO.
The man was transported to a local hospital, where he was pronounced deceased. His name was not released by law enforcement.
OCSO stated that the fight appears to be a “targeted incident.” No further details were provided by the sheriff’s office regarding the individual(s) involved in the physical altercation.
“This is an active and ongoing investigation, and this is all the information we have for release at this time,” stated the Orange County Sheriff’s Office in a media release on Tuesday evening.
