Mary was born on April 1963, in Tampa, Florida to Mr. David G. Mills, Sr. and Mrs. Hazel R. Mills. She became accustomed to the military lifestyle, while residing in Okinawa, Japan, with her seven siblings and their parents. She accepted Christ as her personal savior, at an early age and raised under the Baptist Doctrine.

Mary attended the Florida Public School Systems, where she graduated from Maynard Evans High School, Class of 1981.

February 9, 2001, she married the love of her life, Dr. Frederick D. Glover. They would later become parents of two beautiful daughters, Malika, and Malina Glover and one adorable grandson, Kato Johnson. She was especially proud of her daughters and would not hesitate to go above and beyond whenever necessary.

Mary had the voice of a hummingbird and touched other through her music ministry. She especially enjoyed singing and traveling with the choir of Faith World Church, under the leadership of Pastor Clint Brown. She was a gentle soul, with a sweet personality and someone you could rely on. If her assistance was needed.

Mary enjoyed working in sales & marketing for upscale retail establishments for many years. As time progressed, she would find her happy place becoming an employee for Cellmark. This was her extended family; during her nearly ten years span of employment. She befriended many co-workers, but had a special bond with Vonda, Maggie, Marva, & Greg.

Mary preferred the finer things in life and was know for her exquisite taste in clothing. When she entered a room, she would turn heads, wearing the latest fashion and was the glamour sparkle girl of our family. Bling was her thing, stunning nails, rhinestones, with coordinating accessories! She was also a diehard Tampa Bay Buccaneers Fan! She enjoyed meeting celebrities and attending major events. Most of all she had a knack for photography, taking pictures of her family who she cherished and affectionally would ask “It’s a Kodak moment”!

Mary traveled extensively to areas such as, Turks & Caicos, Bahamas, and Bermuda her favorite of all. It was common to see the trio Mary, Linda, and Brenda often matching in the same attire and looking beautiful as ever.

Mary was preceded in death by her parents, Mrs. Hazel B. Mills and Mr. David G. Mills, Sr., as well as her beloved husband Dr. Frederick D. Glover.

Mary is survived by two daughters, Malika D. Glover and Malina R. Glover, both of Casselberry, Florida; Four sister, Hattie Delores Barber of Orlando, Florida; Priscilla (Anthony) Whitney, St. Petersburg, Florida ; Brenda Barns of Manvel Texas; and Linda (David) Sanders of Apopka, Florida; Three brothers, Daniel Mills (Alison) of Windermere, Florida; David Mills, Jr. of Windermere, Florida; and Bishop Marvin Odum of Savannah, Georgia; One grandson, Kato A. Johnson; The honorary sons she never has (nephews) Michael and Isaiah King; A devoted best friend of many years, Cynthia Scott and a host of nieces, nephews, friends, and family!
