One killed in Orlando shooting, deputies say

The Orange County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a fatal shooting in Orlando that left one man dead on Tuesday afternoon.

At around 12:30 p.m., OCSO deputies responded to the 7500 block of Exchange Drive in reference to shots being fired. Upon arrival, the deputies found a man in his 50s who had sustained a gunshot wound, according to the sheriff’s office.

The victim was transported to a local hospital, where he was pronounced deceased. His name was not released by law enforcement.

OCSO stated that all parties involved in the incident remained on scene. No further details were provided regarding any potential suspects.

“This is still an active and ongoing investigation,” added the sheriff’s office.
