The Volusia County Sheriff’s Office is asking the public for help to identify a woman wanted in connection with the theft of a wallet at a local Dollar Tree store.
According to VCSO, the victim was inside the Dollar Tree located at 1222 Ocean Shore Boulevard in Ormond Beach on Tuesday, April 2. After paying for merchandise at the register, the victim left the store without their wallet, which was accidentally left on the counter at checkout.

When VCSO deputies reviewed the store’s video surveillance footage, they observed a woman with gray hair, a blue shirt, and denim jeans taking the victim’s wallet.

The sheriff’s office stated that the victim’s wallet contained their driver’s license, Social Security card, and two credit cards.
