Missing, endangered 45-year-old man last seen in Volusia County

The Volusia County Sheriff’s Office is asking for the public’s help to locate a missing and endangered 45-year-old man who was last seen on Sunday.

Edward Taylor Stephenson was reported missing on Sunday, April 14, after he left his assisted living facility in DeLeon Springs. He was last seen walking near N U.S. 17 and Spring Garden Ranch Road.

The sheriff’s office states that Edward left behind vital medication that he needs for psychiatric health.  

Edward stands 5’11” tall and weighs 205 pounds. He has blue eyes, black hair, and a beard. When he was last seen, he was wearing a gray T-shirt, gray shorts, and he was carrying a backpack.

According to VCSO, Edward has a sign asking people to drive him to Jacksonville or Delaware.
