Carrie L. Evans

Carrie L. Evans, 70, of Orlando, entered eternal peace on Tuesday, April 2, 2024. Carrie was born on August 28, 1953 in Montezuma, GA to Carrie Thompson Munfus and Leroy Munfus Sr. Carrie was employed as a nurse for several years.

Carrie did not yell or talk loud. She was soft-spoken and humble. She was loving and extremely giving. She would give her last if it could help anyone she loved. She didn’t gossip and she never complained. She handled everything and every situation with grace. Carrie loved God and her family with everything she had in her. She never took sides, and she spoke to everyone equally.

She was always intentional in pointing out the good in people. Carrie was an altar to all that needed her to be. She constantly reminded us of grace in words and by example. She showed us what unconditional love and grace looked like in human form. She loved, had faith, and never complained up until the worst of times and last day with us. Her faith and love remained through it all. She was naturally funny and loved to laugh and smile.

She leaves her loving memories to be cherished by her daughters, Saundra L. Evans, Pamela D. Evans, Kimberly E. Evans; siblings, Joyce (Clint) Henderson, Jocile (David) Reid, Kathy D. Munfus, Wanda Munfus; 6 grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and many friends.
