Maria Consuelo was a woman of immense strength and compassion, who chose the United States as her last home, forging a different future full of hope, especially for her grandchildren. Although far from his native country, he never stopped loving and teaching about her roots, keeping the essence of his Colombian identity alive and proudly transmitting it to the following generations.

From a young age, he showed extraordinary resilience, a quality that shone especially brightly during his final months. Surrounded by the love of her family, she undertook a significant spiritual journey to Portugal to visit the Virgin of Fátima, a recent step she had longed to take, finding peace and serenity in moments of deep reflection.

Maria Consuelo was a pillar for her husband Gonzalo, with whom she shared a life full of love and memorable moments, and a role model for her three children and eight grandchildren, who learned from her the value of unity, faith and strength. facing life’s challenges.

In these difficult times, María Consuelo’s family takes comfort in knowing that she will be the one to welcome us with a warm hug when our time comes. His generous and loving spirit will continue to live in each of us, guiding our steps with his light, inspiring every act of our lives and offering us comfort when we need it most.

A Farewell Ceremony will be held on Tuesday, April 23, 2024, from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. and a Celebration of Life Service from 1:00 p.m. to 1:30 p.m., at Woodlawn Memorial Park & Funeral Home, 400 Woodlawn Cemetery Road, Gotha, FL 34734., where family and friends will be able to say their final farewell.
