Armed bank robbery suspect wanted by Apopka police

The Apopka Police Department is asking the public for help to identify a man who allegedly robbed a local bank at gunpoint on Monday.

According to APD, officers responded to the Fifth Third Bank located at 1725 S Orange Blossom Trail at around 12:12 p.m. on Monday, May 20, in reference to an armed robbery incident.

The police department stated that the male suspect is light skinned, and he was last seen wearing a camo-style bucket hat, a navy blue long-sleeved shirt, gray joggers, gray sneakers, and black and red gloves. He is also armed with a handgun.

After allegedly committing the armed robbery at Fifth Third Bank, the suspect was seen leaving the parking lot on a bicycle.

No further details were provided by police.
