Paul Meehan, 65, formerly of Export, PA, passed away peacefully surrounded by friends and family in Sanford, FL on April 23, 2024.

Paul was born on Nov. 29, 1958, to the late B. Raymond and Helen (Ventura) Meehan.

He was survived by his siblings, Michael (Marianne) Meehan of Verona, David Meehan, of Sanford, FL, Monica Meehan (Andy Salo) of Export, and Maryellen Meehan (Shep Joseph) of Allison Park and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Paul graduated from Franklin Regional High School in 1976. Upon graduation, Paul went on to study at Penn State. After his college education, Paul started with Kmart Management. After over 15 years with Kmart, Paul relocated to the Lake Mary-area of Florida where his outgoing and friendly personality helped him excel in the food sales industry for more than 27 years.

In his free time, Paul was a dedicated member of the Crooms Academy Family and Business Advisory Council. He was passionate about mentoring students and very generous with his time. His leadership and dedication to the Crooms Academy was inspiring to those that had the pleasure of working with him. Paul was always there when needed. He never ran out of stories and he loved to be around friends and family.

Paul especially loved going out and listening to live music and bands. His musical and lyrical knowledge of just about any genre was impressive and humorous. His love for the Rolling Stones, a cold Heineken, good friends, good jokes, and the Pittsburgh Steelers will always be something people will remember about him. Paul enjoyed helping others and even started a small handyman business around the Sanford, FL area. He will be dearly missed by all who knew him.
