Sandra Marie Johnson (Miller Bordonaro), beloved wife, mother, grandmother, friend, and admired colleague, passed away peacefully on May 11, 2024 due to dementia.

Sandy was born on December 3, 1943 to Glenn and Minnie Miller in Dayton, Ohio, with siblings Helen Smylie and Kenneth Miller.

The hallmarks of Sandy’s life were her endearing social nature and building a successful career while being a devoted mom. In Orlando, she raised her children, Joseph Glenn Bordonaro and Christina Marie Martin (Bordonaro). Her marriage to Thomas Johnson in 1996 brought another chapter of joy and fulfillment to her life, as they built a loving home together in Longwood, Florida.

Sandy will forever be cherished by her family, including her husband, children, grandchildren, Amanda Marie Bordonaro and Thomas Johnson, as well as her friends, including best friend Barbara (BJ) May.

Professionally, Sandy’s career spanned administration and event marketing roles with organizations including the Grand Cypress Resort, Greater Orlando Chamber of Commerce, and as an aide to City of Orlando Commissioner, Phil Diamond. Her dedication, professionalism, and unwavering work ethic earned her the respect and admiration of colleagues and the community.

Upon her retirement in 2007, Sandy and Tom embarked on a new chapter of their lives, filled with adventure and exploration. They traveled across the United States, cherishing each moment together and discovering the beauty of their favorite places in Florida.

In her passing, Sandy leaves behind a legacy of love, kindness, friendship, style, and grace to inspire all who were fortunate enough to know her.
