Hazel Bernice Francis, 91 years old, passed away with her family by her side in Wekiva Springs Florida on May 30, 2024.
She was born on August 26, 1932 in Erwin Tennessee and was the daughter of the late Arthur Simerly and Laura Belle Melton Simerly. She was a Member of the Jonesborough United Methodist Church and Sandlando United Methodist Church.
She is predeceased by her husband Ralph Francis, her daughter Mary Ellen Kraft and her sister Stella Francis.
She is survived by her sister Daisy Strasinger, her son Roger Francis (Deborah), son in law Thomas Kraft (Dorothy). Grand Children Heather Peeples (Trevor), Michael Francis (Rachael), David Francis, Jason Mazza (Candice), Justin Mazza (Jennifer) and Zachery Kraft (Renee). Great Grand Children include Greta, Ray, Thomas, Miliani, Olivia, Jude, Ava Jayden and many cousins in Tennessee, North Carolina, Maryland and Florida.
A viewing will be held at 11:00 a.m. on June 6, 2024 at Newcomer Funeral Home on S.R. 434 in Longwood Florida. A Memorial Service will follow at 12:00 noon.
Interment will be at a later date at the Canaveral Memorial Cemetery in Mims Florida where she will be buried along side her husband Ralph Francis.
