Song Hui Roskosky was born on June 18, 1943 in Hwanhae-do, North Korea, and passed away in a car accident on May 27, 2024. Her family immigrated to Inchon, South Korea in 1950 to escape communism.

Song met the love of her life, Addison (Bob) Roskosky when he was taking his hunting dogs for a run. When the dogs did not return despite being called, he found them playing with Song in her backyard. They married May 12, 1965 and remained devoted to one another for 47 years until Bob passed away in 2012.

Song was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother. She was a homemaker, but later owned a commercial cleaning company. She loved to travel, cook and spend time with friends. She played on a tennis team and was in a women’s bowling league in her twenties, but most recently enjoyed her morning walks, gardening, spending time with her loved ones and watching movies.

Song was a cancer survivor and was one of the strongest women her family knew. She was selfless and always put her family before herself. She was generous and hospitable to others and never met a stranger.

Song had three children Elizabeth Ramsby (Robert), Emma Roskosky-Marrison (Harry), Michael Roskosky (predeceased), and two grandchildren, Kathleen Carter and Ashley Carter and was a foster grandmother to twins. She was beloved by her family and will be missed by many, but her family rejoices that she is in heaven and reunited with her beloved husband and son. Service to held
