Central Florida Fairgrounds hosting reptile, exotic animal show

Repticon Orlando will bring live reptiles and other exotic animals to the Central Florida Fairgrounds this weekend.

The two-day event returns to the Central Florida Fairgrounds (4603 W Colonial Drive in Orlando) on Saturday, July 27, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., and on Sunday, July 28, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

The family-friendly expo offers attendees the opportunity to learn about animals that are not normally seen in local pet stores.

Throughout the event, there will be seminars on animal-related topics by experts in the field of herpetology.

Visitors can also shop for a new family pet among the hundreds of reptiles, amphibians, invertebrates, spiders, and small exotic animals.

For entry into both show days, $15 adult tickets and $6 tickets for children (ages 5 to 12) are available. Ages 4 and under can attend the event for free.

One-day adult tickets are also on sale for $12 (all day Saturday or all day Sunday), with a discounted option ($10) available for adults attending the Saturday show after 1 p.m. In addition, one-day tickets for children (ages 5 to 12) are also available for $6.
