An investigation into the death of a man at an Orlando apartment complex has led to the arrest of a 28-year-old murder suspect.
On Monday, November 11, the Orange County Sheriff’s Office announced that Deandre Terrell Johnson, 28, has been arrested on a second-degree murder charge for his alleged involvement in the death of 41-year-old Anthory Joevuel Hawkins.

When deputies arrived on scene, they observed that the victim had “obvious trauma to his body.” He was transported to a local hospital, where he died from his injuries.
The victim was later identified by the sheriff’s office as Hawkins.
OCSO launched a homicide investigation, which eventually led detectives to identifying Johnson as a suspect in this case.
Following his arrest, Johnson was transported to Orange County Jail, where he is currently being held without bond.
No further details were provided by law enforcement regarding the ongoing investigation or Johnson’s alleged actions that resulted in the victim’s death.
