An 18-year-old Deltona woman is facing multiple charges after she allegedly spray-painted and egged a vehicle that she thought belonged to her ex-boyfriend.
In a social media post on Wednesday, February 26, the Volusia County Sheriff’s Office stated that deputies responded overnight to a vandalism call in Deltona regarding a young woman who was spray-painting a vehicle.
When deputies arrived at the incident location, they observed two individuals: an 18-year-old woman, later identified as Deltona resident Evelina Fabianski, and a 16-year-old girl. VCSO stated that Fabianski had “yellow spray paint on her sweatpants.”
During an interview, Fabianski told deputies that she was “upset with her ex-boyfriend.” She then allegedly stated that she “decided to spray-paint and throw eggs” at his vehicle.
However, the vandalized vehicle actually belonged to a neighbor, not her ex-boyfriend, according to VCSO.
The sheriff’s office stated that deputies witnessed Fabianski “driving her vehicle with two open containers of Four Loko in plain view.” In addition, deputies also recovered an empty Crown Royal bottle, a scale, and a can of yellow spray paint.
Fabianski was placed under arrest and transported to Volusia County Jail. She was released later that same day after posting bond, and she is facing the following charges: criminal mischief ($1,000 or more), contributing to the delinquency of a child, possession of alcohol by a person under 21 years of age, and driving under the influence of alcohol.
The 16-year-old girl was charged with possession of marijuana (over 20 grams), which deputies allegedly found in her bag.
